Ingredients

Directions

1

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F or 175 degrees C. Grease a 12-inch pan with unsalted butter.

2

Take Oreo cookies and separate the cream from the cookies. Ground the cookies with the help of a food processor. Mix the ground Oreos, softened butter, and granulated sugar. Press down the mixture in the greased pan (press the sides as well).

3

With the help of an electric mixer, beat cream cheese and the leftover cream from the oreo cookies in a medium-sized bowl until smooth. Add granulated sugar gradually into the cream cheese until they are properly mixed.

4

Now add eggs (one at a time). Turn the mixer to the low-speed mode and beat until the mixture becomes smooth.

5

Melt 8 ounces of dark chocolate with 2 Tbsp. of whipping cream in a glass bowl over boiling water.

6

Add melted dark chocolate to the cream cheese mixture.

7

Now add sour cream, 2 Tbs. of coffee dissolved in ¼ cup of hot water, salt, dark rum, and vanilla essence into the cream cheese mixture. Beat everything together until it reaches a smooth consistency.

8

Pour this mixture into the prepared pan with the crust.

9

Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake it for 45 minutes (DO NOT OVERBAKE).

10

Turn off the oven and leave the cake in the oven for another 45 minutes. Now, put the cake in the refrigerator and chill it for 12 hours.

11

After 12 hours, your cheesecake is ready.
