Summer is almost here and it’s time for iced coffee to shine. This creamy coconut milk Thai iced coffee is a refreshing creamy beverage and a must-have for summers. Just like me, you’ll also fall in love with its rich flavor, aroma, and taste. I’m sure you’ll be addicted to it because it’s too good. Its flavor is unique and different from ordinary iced coffee.
The recipe is completely dairy-free because it requires coconut milk instead of milk. The creaminess and rich flavor come from the sweetened condensed coconut milk. Making this sweetened condensed coconut milk is very easy. You just need to simmer the coconut milk along with a few other ingredients until it becomes thick and that’s it. However, make sure to use only full-fat coconut milk to make your condensed coconut milk.
Apart from coconut milk, I used a few other ingredients including vanilla extract, cardamom powder, nutmeg powder, ground clove, and almond extract. Its sweet taste comes from maple syrup. Additionally, I used brewed coffee and ice cubes. You can also use espresso instead of brewed coffee.
The recipe is quite simple. Once the coconut condensed milk is ready, you just pour coffee over ice cubes and then top with the sweetened condensed milk. If you want creamier coffee, you can also increase the amount of condensed coconut milk.
