Coffee Oreo Ice Cream Recipe-2

What goes into coffee Oreo ice cream?

There are a few critical ingredients to consider here. Let’s start with coffee, and for me, that means espresso. Two entire shots, to be precise. We also need Oreo cookies, which we’ll crush and throw into the mix.

Condensed milk will give creaminess and sweetness to the ice cream, but feel free to add more sugar if you need it. Vanilla just adds flavor and no sweetness.

The last ingredient is heavy whipping cream, and it matters the most. You must whip it to puff it up to add some air to the ice cream. Without air bubbles, the ice cream will just freeze rock solid.

Tips for the perfect ice cream

  • As you see, this ice cream recipe doesn’t call for an ice cream maker, which makes the ice cream smoother; that’s a fact. The problem is that not everyone has an ice cream machine.

  • Combine the whipped cream with the rest of the ingredients gently to avoid bursting the tiny air bubbles in the mixture. Go gentle and use a rubber or silicone spatula.

  • Freeze the ice cream for at least four hours. It will be even better if left in the freezer overnight. And know that the ice cream will keep indefinitely just like any other ice cream.

Let’s explore this recipe and make ourselves a batch of coffee and Oreo ice cream. How cool is that? Let’s do it!
