For the frosting:



Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.


In a stand mixer bowl, combine the eggs, sugar, instant coffee and vanilla essence. Beat until frothy.


Add the melted butter and slowly incorporate the flour, cacao powder and baking powder. Mix well.


Pour the batter into the cake pan.


Bake for 45 minutes and check if cooked through.


Remove from the oven and cool on a cooling rack before frosting.


Combine the ready-made chocolate frosting with instant coffee and cover the cake.
