Easy French Vanilla Coffee Float Recipe-2

What goes into a French vanilla coffee float?

So, what’s the deal with French vanilla? What is it? All vanilla comes from an orchid native to Mexico’s Atlantic coast, but the delicious pod or vanilla bean is now traded worldwide. Do you know who particularly fell in love with vanilla? The French.

Today we use the term French vanilla ice cream to a unique kind of ice cream, perhaps made with egg yolks and authentic vanilla bean; the stuff is up there with the most decadent types of ice cream. So, if you’re planning to make this coffee, make sure you get the best vanilla ice cream you can get. The fanciest, the better.

Once you get your hands on the ice cream, the rest is easy. We’re using a freshly brewed espresso, whole milk, whipping cream and a maraschino cherry.

If you want to use a milk alternative, do so. And although we’re counting on the ice cream to sweeten the drink, if you want yours sweeter, just add some sugar or your favorite sweetener.

What to serve with a French vanilla coffee float?

How does a chocolate croissant sound? It’s undoubtedly a great partner for this creamy coffee, and the same goes for any buttery French pastry. And since vanilla ice cream is compatible with chocolate, try this coffee specialty with a freshly baked brownie or a slice of chocolate cake; that’s a hit for sure.

Now, let’s make ourselves this creamy-licious float. What’s not to love? I mean, coffee and vanilla are a match made in heaven.
