How to Clean your Ninja Coffee Bar

Using a descaler is one of the best ways to clean your Ninja, but it requires some important steps in order to do it properly.

1. Empty out water and coffee grounds from the basket as well as the jug under the brewer basket.
2. Pour in a descaler and some warm water to fill the brewer up to the maximum fill mark.
3. Select the ‘clean’ option and allow it to run through the machine.
4. Empty out the machine and refill with water to the maximum fill line.
5. Select the ‘clean’ option and allow it to run through the machine.
6. Repeat the water clean process again to get rid of all descaler.
7. Wipe down all components of the machine with detergent and hot water.

If the quick-clean process doesn’t work the clean light may stay on, meaning that you need to do a better clean.

1. Empty out water and coffee grounds from the basket as well as the jug under the brewer basket.
2. Fill the brewer to the maximum fill line with water and white vinegar and set to full carafe and ‘clean.’
3. Wait one minute and select ‘clean’ again. This will pause the cycle. Allow it to sit for 30 minutes and press ‘clean’ again to restart.
4. Allow the cycle to run through and rinse the machine using a new ‘clean’ cycle with clean water.
5. Clean out the basket and all components.

Make sure that you’re also cleaning out all of the components of your coffee brewer at least once per week to get rid of any buildup.
