Iced Maple Syrup Cardamom Coffee

During hot summer days, you feel extra exhausted and dehydrated. This cardamom coffee is a perfect brew for one of those days to perk up your mood. It’s not only the caffeine that will make you happy but the decadent aroma of cardamom that will dissolve your exhaustion into nothing.

It tastes amazing and you can literally make it in less than 15 minutes. It’s a great way to kickstart your day with an energy boost.

I love coffee so I am constantly experimenting with different tastes and ingredients to present convenient yet tasty coffee recipes for you.

Cardamom is my personal favorite and I use it frequently in my coffees, teas, and other drinks. I vividly remember the scent of cardamom that my mom used in different dishes especially in deserts. In this recipe, I am using freshly ground cardamom to extract all its goodness and aroma.

Maple syrup is a lovely addition to this coffee. I could have used sugar or honey but we all know that maple syrup is clearly the better choice than sugar in this recipe. As in the case of honey, I personally prefer maple syrup over honey.

The first reason is that I love maple syrup. The second is that cardamom and maple syrup taste wonderful together. I feel like it’s just the best combination ever. You will understand this too when you’ll try this iced maple syrup cardamom coffee.

Easy to Make (and Super Tasty)

The recipe is actually very simple. You need to make your coffee beforehand and add 2 pinches of cardamom powder in it.

The coffee will completely soak up the aroma of cardamom. Let it sit for 2 minutes before adding maple syrup.

Mix them well and let this mixture sit until it cools down completely. In this time, cardamom and maple syrup will combine to give this coffee a special taste that is so decadent.

When it’s on room temperature, add milk and pour into an already chilled glass with 2 to 3 ice cubes. You can use any type of milk in this recipe.

Whether its skim milk or almond milk, the taste will still be perfect! You can refrigerate your coffee for some time before adding the milk to it.
