At some point in your life, you must have driven to the coffee shops on and off to get your salted caramel mocha as a must-have drink. So did I. Then I wondered why not to create this delicious recipe at home. It will be less pricey and I can easily add whatever flavor I want in my caramel mocha latte.

This salted caramel mocha latte is a super easy recipe that requires only a few ingredients. The addition of sea salt gives it a unique taste. You won’t have to go out every time you crave for salted caramel mocha latte because you can make it at home with simple ingredients like hot chocolate, milk, espresso, sea salt, brown sugar, and caramel.

If you bought coffee accessories but never got the chance to use them then It’s the best time to use your French press and espresso machine to make the strongly brewed coffee and frothy milk needed for this recipe. These equipment have made the prep process so easy but if you don’t have a French press or an espresso maker, that’s totally okay. You can still enjoy this rich salted caramel mocha latte. Simply use a handheld milk frother to froth the milk. You can even use a blender. You can also make strong coffee on the stove to use instead of espresso.

You can use any milk, dairy and non-dairy, as per your preference. The recipe is super easy. You just need to pour the milk, chocolate syrup, caramel sauce, and 1/8 tbsp sea salt in a saucepan and heat it until it becomes hot. Then froth the milk mixture. 

You can also use the mason jar to froth the milk. The frothy milk mixture is ready! Now pour brewed coffee or espresso into a coffee mug and stir in the chocolate milk mixture until well combined. Top with fresh whipped cream and caramel sauce. Sprinkle the powdered mixture of brown sugar and sea salt on it. Enjoy home-made salted caramel mocha latte.

Mix caramel sauce, hot chocolate, and sea salt in a small bowl.


Add brewed coffee to the coffee mug.


Add sugar to the mug and mix well.


Froth the milk and add the caramel sauce mixture to it. Mix well and then Pour it into the coffee mug over brewed coffee.


Top it up with whipped cream.


Dribble some caramel on topped cream.


Sprinkle sea salt and brown sugar mixture.
