If you want natural strawberry ice cream, make your own with authentic, organic strawberries. Here’s all you need to know about this fun frozen treat.

Organic Strawberry Ice Cream Recipe

Why Make Organic Strawberry Ice Cream?

Having ice cream in the freezer is the easiest way to have a sweet treat available, especially when it’s hot outside and you don’t want to leave the comfort of home.

Besides, making homemade ice cream allows you to use premium ingredients — rest assured, the big ice cream companies are not so committed to quality. Use organic strawberries and other fine ingredients, and you’ll end with a frozen treat of the highest quality. That’s a dessert to entertain your friends and family with a proud smile on your face.

Here’s all you need to make a pint of strawberry ice cream fast and easy. Of course, any type of berry will do!

What Goes Into Organic Strawberry Ice Cream?

You’ll also need condensed milk for its sweetness and creamy mouthfeel and heavy whipping cream for its frothiness. Use extra sugar if the fruit is not sweet enough, and don’t forget to add a pinch of salt to bring it all together. Making homemade ice cream is easy and fun, and it will change the way you see the frozen treat forever.

Lemon Iced Coffee Drink Recipe

Why Make Lemon Iced Coffee Drinks?

Lemon juice is nutritious and an all-natural immune booster. Enjoying a splash of the tangy juice every day is a sure way to stay healthy in many ways. What better than drinking lemon juice in your cup of coffee? Besides, drinking cold coffee with lemon is not dissimilar to drinking black tea with citrus juice, and that’s a tradition that goes back for centuries.

If you like lemonades, you’ll love this coffee drink; you’ll like it if you’re into iced coffee as well! Let’s just say this one’s the best of two worlds, and it’s the perfect drink for warm spring and summer evenings. Of course, there’s no reason not to start the day with this citrusy delight any time of year.

Lemon is acidic, and so is coffee. To prevent ending with a drink too tart to enjoy, use cold brew coffee, which is fruity and intense but not particularly acidic.

You’ll also need granulated sugar, honey or your favorite sweetener; even zero-calorie sweeteners will work. Use fresh lemon and not the stuff in a bottle, and garnish your lemon iced coffee with a few lemon slices for extra aromatics and visual impact.

If you don’t know how to make cold brew coffee, you’ll find a few handy recipes on this site. The infused coffee is a game-changer, and you can do much more than lemon iced coffee with it!

Sugar-Free Peach Iced Tea Recipe

Sugar-Free Peach Iced Tea Recipe

Table of Contents

Iced tea is the ultimate porch drink to enjoy when sunny outside, especially if flavored with the season’s ripe peaches. And although a refreshing glass of peach iced tea is hard to turn down, let’s admit everyone’s favorite summer tea is packed with sugar, and that’s not particularly healthy.

A sugar-free peach iced tea is more than a good alternative for anyone looking to cut down on carbs; it’s a good alternative for everyone. After all, you can drink as many glasses of the sugar-free version as you want, and more tea means more fun!

Sugar-Free Peach Iced Tea Recipe

Why Make Sugar-Free Peach Iced Tea?

Making a pitcher of peach iced tea is a tradition, especially if you live in the south. Of course, it doesn’t matter where you live as long as you like refreshing drinks with a peachy scent.

The thing here is, to give a peachy flavor to tea, you need peach purée or nectar, and these are sweet ingredients already. This means that this is not a zero-calorie drink, even if we’re not adding extra sugar. Of course, using less sugar is already healthier than drinking regular peach iced tea, so let’s leave it at that.

Peach tea is loved by all, and the recipe below makes one good tea, flavored with authentic peach nectar or puree and garnished with fresh fruit, how to beat that?

What Goes Into Sugar-Free Peach Iced Tea?

To make this lovely peach iced tea, we’re using two black tea bags for every four glasses. Use more or less depending on how strong you like your tea.

We’re also using sugar-free peach nectar, and that’s where things get tricky. 95% of commercial peach juice, nectar and purée have added sugar and lots of it. This means you might want to puree your own peaches, which are easy to find in summer!

Save a peach and slice it for a natural garnish that’ll make your peach iced tea pitcher Instagram-worthy. A few mint sprigs are a nice garnish as well, but they’re more than looks — mint gives the loveliest scent to your tea! Enjoy this one with all your senses. Let’s make some tea!

Organic Vanilla Ice Cream Recipe

Organic Vanilla Ice Cream Recipe

Table of Contents

Making ice cream at home is a fantastic weekend project and a great way of having ice cream in the freezer at all times. After all, ice cream is the source of creamy milkshakes, a lovely dessert, and a crave-quencher at all hours, even late at night.

The thing is, not all ice cream is created equal, and most commercial versions are loaded with artificial ingredients, and if they’re natural, they’re rarely organic, and it matters.

If you want to treat yourself with organic ice cream, make it yourself with certified organic ingredients — this is the way. And let’s all be thankful that organic ingredients are more common than ever. Look around, and you can find every ingredient grown organically and sustainably.

Organic Vanilla Ice Cream Recipe

Why Make Organic Vanilla Ice Cream?

Vanilla ice cream is everyone’s favorite; let’s start with that. In fact, vanilla ice cream has been the most popular ice cream flavor since the frozen treat became popular over a century ago. Even if there are more exciting and exotic ice cream flavors out there, vanilla is a classic.

Why enjoy organic ice cream? Because it’s healthier for you and the planet. Nonorganic ice cream might contain unhealthy artificial ingredients, and there’s no room for those in the new century.

Finally, making ice cream at home is easy, even without an ice cream machine. And yes, the result is smooth and sweet, just how we like it. Here’s what you need to make ice cream fast with no ice cream machine.

What Goes Into Organic Vanilla Ice Cream?

To make ice cream at home, you’ll need condensed milk; that’s the thick, creamy and sweet kind. This is the base of every ice cream, especially if you’re making it without an ice cream machine.

You also need heavy whipping cream as it adds the smooth, airy texture to ice cream. You must whip it and combine it with the rest of the ingredients before freezing immediately — that’s the trick behind homemade ice cream!

Then you have the flavoring, which can be anything, in this case, vanilla extract and a pinch of salt to stabilize the ice cream. Doesn’t that sound easy? It is! Once you get the hang of it, experiment with other ingredients and flavorings — nothing can stop you now, ice cream maker!

Iced Peach Refresher Drinks Recipe

Why Make Iced Peach Refresher Drinks?

Peaches are summery, and they give the most heartwarming flavor and personality to everything, from drinks to pies. Still, we don’t use peaches all that often; after all, it’s not the most popular fruit, and that’s a shame! Using fresh peaches and high-quality peach nectar is fun and allows you to craft all sorts of goodies, including refreshers.

Make a pitcher of iced peach refresher and make peaches part of your life. Here’s a tip: Peaches are riper between May and August, and although peach nectar is available all year round, you can get an artisan version in a farmers’ market. Learn how to make an iced peach refresher in just a few steps. Here’s what you need to know.

What Goes Into an Iced Peach Refresher Drink?

To make an iced peach refresher, you need peach nectar, two cups per pitcher. Quality matters here, so look for authentic nectar with little-to-no added sugar.

You’ll also need ginger ale to give fizziness and lovely sweetness to the drink. Of course, a splash of lemon juice balances the sweetness and makes the refresher more refreshing, basically.

As for the garnish, using fresh peach slices and a few thyme, rosemary or mint sprigs is a nice touch. Peach slices are a must, as you can munch on them after you finish your drink.

Make a pitcher and add the ice last just before serving to avoid dilution. Serve the ginger ale last as well to preserve that precious fizz! Other than that, you’ll have a colorful pitcher of peach refresher in no time!

Iced Rosemary Apricot Cocktails Recipe

Iced Rosemary Apricot Cocktails Recipe

Table of Contents

Apricots have a place at any bar, home bars too! In fact, the sweet, peachy fruit makes lovely cocktails, mainly when boosted with a splash of booze and fizzed up with some bubbly water.

Fruity cocktails are better suited for outdoor entertaining when Dry Martinis are just too dry, and Old Fashioned cocktails are, well, old-fashioned. This is where iced rosemary apricot cocktails come in.

The best part? You can make non-alcoholic versions of these colorful libations easy, and they’re just as good. Here’s what you need to know about the summeriest of cocktails, the iced rosemary apricot cocktail.

Iced Rosemary Apricot Cocktails Recipe

Why Make Iced Rosemary Apricot Cocktails?

Apricots are underrated. They’re stone fruits, but they aren’t peaches — they’re smaller and tarter, but they’re still pleasingly sweet. Apricots have their own personality, and it translates very well into cocktails. Why make an iced rosemary apricot cocktail? Why not! If it’s warm and sunny outside, this is the drink for you and your loved ones.

Make a pitcher and enjoy the warm weather. Even if you make this cocktail in winter, you’ll feel warm and comfy. Mixing drinks is also fun and a lovely activity for groups of friends. Let everyone help out and make cocktails the main event; that’s what we call entertaining guests! Here’s what you need to craft this summer cocktail recipe. Scale the ingredients up or down to suit your needs!

What Goes Into an Iced Rosemary Apricot Cocktail?

The most critical ingredient in our iced rosemary apricot cocktail recipe is apricot nectar; we know it’s not easy to come by. The good news? You can substitute it with peach nectar — just make sure you use the good stuff. You can also puree a few fresh apricots and dilute it for an all-natural, homemade drink.

We’re using vodka for this cocktail, as it won’t mask the fruit flavors. For a warmer, more tropical drink, use rum, and for a southern feel, use Bourbon. The sky’s the limit!

Then we have the lemon juice to add brightness to the drink and sparkling water to keep things fizzy. As a garnish, there’s nothing like fresh apricot slices, and a rosemary sprig can really take your drink to the next level with color and the most enticing perfume. Don’t skip the rosemary!

Healthy Ginger Lemon Tea Recipe

Healthy Ginger Lemon Tea Recipe

Table of Contents

Ginger is a super healthy root, and it’s always very welcomed in the kitchen. Well, it’s also a fantastic drink ingredient, not only for its wellness but for its exciting perfume!

Together with tangy lemon juice and honey, ginger gives life to this refreshing tea, which, by the way, you can enjoy hot or cold. The best part? It’s all-natural, and it’s ready in five minutes. As always, you can make a whole pot of ginger lemon tea or make a cup just for yourself. If serving it over ice, make a pitcher! Here’s what you need to know about ginger lemon tea.

Healthy Ginger Lemon Tea Recipe

Why Make Ginger Lemon Tea?

First things first. This recipe for ginger lemon tea is not tea at all since we’re not using the leaves of the tea shrub. Of course, that doesn’t mean you can’t substitute the water in the recipe below with actual green or black tea, which is lovely, by the way.

Still, the stars in this recipe are the sliced ginger (use fresh ginger) and lemon juice. Together, they become a refreshing and even healthy drink that’s as invigorating as delicious. Sweeten the ginger lemon tea with honey or use your favorite sweetener and garnish every cup with a few fresh lemon slices.

Strain the ginger slices before serving or let them be. Just be mindful — biting into one of these can be an overwhelming aromatic burst!

What Goes Into a Healthy Ginger Lemon Tea?

To make healthy ginger lemon tea at home, you need hot water straight from the teapot. You can also use cold water for an iced version of the drink, but it won’t be as potent — warm water gets infused easier and faster than cold water. You can also use tea instead of water with exciting results!

You’ll also need freshly squeezed lemon juice and a few lemon slices. As a sweetener, honey is nicely compatible with ginger lemon tea, but you can use granulated sugar or any low-calorie sweetener.

The most crucial ingredient is ginger, and you want it fresh and thinly sliced. You don’t have to peel it for this recipe (although it does look nicer when peeled); just ensure you slice it thinly.

Why make cracked chocolate cookies? Because cookies. Cookies are fun and making them is not only a fun activity for the entire family — it’s also relaxing. Baking is like meditating in the kitchen!

Cracked cookies are crumbly but fudgy, so they’re the best of two worlds: they’re pretty too. Achieving that crackly crust is easy — it’s all in the cookie dough and, of course, the confectioner’s sugar we’re using to dust these bad boys.

These aren’t your regular chocolate cookies; we’re using real chocolate, which makes all the difference. These cookies are fun to have around, and they’re lovely gifts as well. Make a batch for yourself and another one for someone special. Cookies are more than a snack — they’re a love letter!

What Goes Into Cracked Chocolate Biscuit Cookies?

To make cracked chocolate biscuit cookies, you need equal parts of flour, butter and sugar. An egg binds all the ingredients, and baking powder helps the cookie dough rise. We’ll use baker’s semisweet chocolate and cocoa powder for the flavor. Real chocolate gives the cookies a fudgy texture, although these are still as crumbly as you want them to be.

When working with butter and melted chocolate, working fast and efficiently is paramount. Keep your cookie dough unattended, and lumps will form. We’re using powdered sugar for the powdery look, as it makes those cracks show their best. Of course, you’ll also need a standard kitchen oven, a baking tray and a cooling rack. Let’s look at the recipe.

Dark Chocolate Coffee Cakes Recipe

Dark Chocolate Coffee Cakes Recipe

Table of Contents

Coffee cakes are usually uninteresting, to say the least. After all, they’re meant to complement a cup of coffee without stealing the spotlight. Well, that changes today. Let’s make individual coffee cakes to get the conversation started — coffee cakes that make a statement. Dark chocolate coffee cakes might just become your new favorite sweet.

Dark Chocolate Coffee Cakes Recipe

Why Make Dark Chocolate Coffee Cakes?

Dark chocolate is slightly bitter, yes, but it’s also elegant. Real chocolate can even turn coffee cakes into a memorable experience. If you have friends over for a cup of coffee, bring out these layered individual bakes and turn your get-together into a party. Who doesn’t love cake?

Now, this is not your average chocolate cake either — it’s still spongy and relatively plain, just like coffee cakes should be. Garnish these carefully, and you’ll have a restaurant-quality treat on your hands.

What Goes Into Chocolate Coffee Cakes?

To make these individual cakes, we’re working in layers. The cake batter is the same, but we’re mixing half of it with cocoa powder and melted chocolate.

To make the dough, you’ll need flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, eggs, milk and oil. Vanilla and cinnamon flavor the white cake layers, contrasting with the rich chocolate batter. Together, they become a balanced cake that’s not a chocolate cake or a coffee cake; it’s the best of two worlds. You’ll never see coffee cake in the same way again.

Homemade Sweet Chocolate Coffee Salami Recipe

Homemade Sweet Chocolate Coffee Salami Recipe

Table of Contents

Did you know there’s a chocolate salami? A whole tube of chocolatey and buttery goodness you can just slice and serve for dessert. This specialty is popular in Portugal and Italy, but there’s no reason you shouldn’t make it your own family tradition. Chocolate salami is as good as it sounds. Add coffee to it, and now you’re talking — this could very well be the tastiest dessert you’ve had in a while. What could possibly be better than a whole chocolate coffee salami, all for yourself?

Homemade sweet chocolate coffee salami recipe

Why Make Homemade Sweet Chocolate Coffee Salami?

Chocolate coffee salami is literally a sweet log of chocolate, sugar, biscuits and butter. The result, though, is larger than the sum of its parts. Chocolate salami is better with a glass of sweet, fortified wine in hand, and that’s how people enjoy it traditionally. Still, chocolate salami is also lovely with a cup of milky tea, whether a latte, flat white or cappuccino.

This dessert is fantastic on the holidays, as it kind of looks like a chocolate log or bouche de noel — the famous Christmas dessert. Make this one for special occasions or have it in the fridge for when having guests over for dinner.

What Goes Into Sweet Chocolate Coffee Salami?

To make a medium-sized chocolate salami, approximately eight slices, you need around eight ounces of dark chocolate, one and a half sticks of butter and half a cup of sugar. The secret ingredient is the biscuits, which prevent the salami from being too compact. Ladyfinger biscuits are ideal, but there are others, and ensure they’re fluffy, but not too moist or crumbly.

Since we’re working with real chocolate, work fast as it hardens rather quickly. Mix and pack the ingredients in parchment paper into a tight log and refrigerate until solid. That’s all there is to it; that’s how you make a chocolate salami.

How to Make It

  • Prep Time4 hr 30 min
  • Total Time4 hr 30 min
  • Serving Size8

Ingredients

  • 10 oz biscuits
  • 1 1/2 stick unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 oz milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 8oz bakers’ dark chocolate
  • 2 tbsp confectioner’s sugar as a garnish

Directions

1

Crumble the biscuits and set them aside.

2

In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter with the sugar and milk to form a paste.

3

Melt the dark chocolate in the microwave in 30-second intervals.

4

Mix the melted chocolate into the butter mixture and add the crumbled biscuits.

5

Place the mixture over a sheet of parchment paper and shape it into a cylindrical salami.

6

Cover the chocolate salami with aluminum foil and refrigerate for at least four hours.

7

Unwrap and dust with confectioners’ sugar before slicing and serving.
